Man Wants To Sell 114 Pound Testicles Ebay
BY Monica Davis There is an entire industry out there, selling body parts. The blackmarket pipeline for stolen and for sale organs is making some people rich--and the poor are willing to sell some of their own organs if the price is right. So, it comes as no suprise that a man who just had his 114 pound testicles removed wants to sell 'em--if the price is right. A Las Vegas man, Wesley Warren, 49, has undergone a 13-hour procedure to remove his 114 lb testicles after they became swollen after a bizarre incident by which he squashed them while sleeping.
Plants Do Math To Survive The Night
New research shows that to prevent starvation at night, plants perform accurate arithmetic division. The calculation allows them to use up their starch reserves at a constant rate so that they run out almost precisely at dawn. “This is the first concrete example in a fundamental biological process of such a sophisticated arithmetic calculation.” said mathematical modeller Professor Martin Howard from the John Innes Centre. Plants feed themselves during the day by using energy from the sun to convert carbon dioxide into sugars and starch.
