I ran across this article and thought how many people I know lost their job, laid off, and then lost their home. Tough times we are all in. If you live in the USA (or elsewhere) how many times have you called a customer service rep and they hardly talk any english, and you have to keep repeating the word, billing error...omg. “Outsourcing” or “offshoring” or even “near shoring” when it takes place in a neighboring country, is based on a simple economic rationale: Cut costs by sending work overseas to someone who will do it for less money.
